I am starting my kitchen remodel and needed to have some cabinets removed and others repositioned in a different area of the kitchen. I asked for an estimate and they sent Technician Rich Mitchell. He listened and asked questions that indicated that he understood what I was trying to accomplish with this work. And the estimate was over $500 lower than a competitor estimate for the same work. Additionally, Rich assured me that they could fit into my schedule. The competitior said "we'll have to see if we can fit you in" even though I had two weeks to get this work done. So I went with Mir. Handyman. What I really loved was that the person who did my estimate was the person who did the work. Technician Rich Mitchell showed up on the number for when the work was supposed to start. He was friendly, we reviewed what the job was again and he got to work. He was efficient and focused. He asked questions when he needed to and was just so great to work with. And he gone done on time and within the estimate. In fact he got done 1 hour earlier than the estimated time! And the job is exactly what I wanted! Exactly! No caveats, just perfect! Rich and Mr Handyman did an outstanding job and the price was fair. I will be giving them more business as I think I have finally found my Mr. Handyman service for the jobs around my home that I need professionals for. They are exactly what I want. Professional, prompt and qualified. They do the work right! The first time!

We've had Mr. Handyman come and do a few projects for us - clean and repair gutters, fix a door jam. Each time they have been responsive, prompt, courteous, professional and have done exceptional work at an exceptional price. Cannot recommend enough!

My 120lb dog snapped one of my lower kitchen cabinets in 2 pieces and I wasn’t sure if it could be fixed or I was gonna have to replace it. Mohamed came out, acessed the cabinet was fixable, took it with him to repair it, then brought it back good as new a few days later for a very reasonable price. I had a variety of hardwired smoking carbon monoxide detectors in my house. That even with the new battery kept beeping. So I had all of them replaced. Including in my basement. The estimate was very straightforward. The man who came to the house for the estimate and who did the work was very professional And completed in the time they expected. Highly recommend. I’m now having more work done by this company because of such a great experience.

They always do such a great job with clear explanations and pricing prior to any work. I've been really happy with their service! Quick, professional service. Technician was polite, clean and efficient. We have them coming back for additional jobs that need to be done.

I originally requested a gutter installer through Home Depot to install a two-tier gutter system with downspouts on the back of my house, a Colonial with a high roof line, in northeastern CT. Mr Handyman replied within the hour, and was out at my house taking pictures to support a quote later that morning. I had the quote via e-mail within just a few hours. The quote was reasonable, and I scheduled a time to have the work done within the week. Mr Handyman’s owner and tech (Mohammad) showed up on time, completed the work in a timely fashion, and did an excellent job. They were very personable, polite, and made sure the work complied with what I wanted. When the work was completed (it took about 6 hours), the invoice matched the quote, despite extra time spent resolving a few unexpected difficulties. I really appreciated the diligence of Mr Handyman and techs on all levels, especially in the current environment of not being able to get good contractors in a timely fashion, or at crazy prices. I would definitely hire them again to do other work needed around my house.

I had some trim along the roofline that needed to be replaced. Since it was on the second floor I didn’t want to do it myself . Communication about scheduling was good. Technician arrived as scheduled and completed the job in a timely fashion. Repair looked good.

Easy to call and book an appointment. We had Jim come out and work in our bathroom (fixing a broken glass shower door and install new mirror and sink as well as other stuff) and he did a great job. Communicated well and did the job as fast as possible while doing quality work. I’ve had trouble finding a place that does these types of jobs so I was very thankful and will call them again for sure!

Engaged Mr. Handyman for sheetrock repair, painting, installation of chair rails and wall shelves. Jim, the technician, is an excellent, experienced craftsman. He is detail-oriented, meticulous in his work and listens well to the ask. He solutioned for a couple of problem areas within the scope of the first job and I was pleased with the results. Based on the success of the first project, I have engaged them for additional work in another room. Jessica, in the front office, is most helpful and very kind. I highly recommend this franchise.
