I needed my deck sealed for rodent prevention and reached out to about 8 different handyman companies for ideas and estimates. Multiple of those didn’t respond in a timely manner, but I got quotes from 3 including Mr. Handyman, who quoted me by far the least. I wasn’t totally sure how I wanted this done but Lisa was immensely helpful in sending me different ideas and pros/cons for each. As a first-time homeowner, I had a TON of questions and she was extremely responsive via text to all of them. We ended up going with a trench + concrete + mesh wiring + composite decking on top, and it looks great (and more importantly, should be a very solid barrier to any critters). Eric did a fantastic job and was kind, efficient, and professional. He took a little over a day when other companies told me a week, at no detriment to the quality of work. I’ll definitely be calling back when I need more work done, and I highly recommend them to others, especially newer homeowners who might need more guidance.

Loved doing business with Mr. Handyman South Austin. They are very professional, top-quality and flexible when circumstances out of our control delayed our remodeling. The office staff is customer service focused, friendly, and detail-oriented. Over the course of time, I dealt with Shannon, the owner, as well as the her employees, Suzanne and Diana. I felt like in the end they were all my personal friends. Our interior work team, Marco and Manny, were wonderful. Very accommodating, friendly, and knew their stuff. We even had a last-minute addition of moving an electrical outlet, which wasn’t in the original quote. They did it with no hesitation. And David pressure-washed our driveway. Again professionally and top quality. I will recommend this business to everyone.

This was my first time using Mr Handyman services and they didn't disappoint. Drew, a carpenter, reset the soft closures that were no longer working properly, reset the large pull-out drawers that were non-functional, re-straightened the cabinet doors that were crooked. I have 20 kitchen cabinets and 12 kitchen drawers, floor to ceiling. Drew also checked out a few other projects I've been putting off and helped me to determine which ones were great DIY projects and those that need much more expertise and why. He's very easy to work with, very professional, great craftsman, and extremely helpful. I also worked with Diana. She understood what I was looking for and was able to get me a cost estimate within a day and then schedule the work. Mr Handyman, South Austin/Lakeway is definitely my first call for household services.

Had a few repairs that were needed, including dry wall patching, painting, and skylight latch replacement. Drew came out from Mr. Handyman and did an excellent job. Professional, easy to engage with, knowledgeable, made sure the place was maintained and clean, and quick in taking care of the repairs and buying materials. Spoke with Lisa in setting up the appointment and she was easy to work with and helpful in figuring out what I would need, after sharing some photos with them. Originally were scheduled for 2 days, but Drew worked quick and cut the time in half of the expectation once he could see what it looked like. He didn't try to extend out time just to bill. Really appreciated the good customer service and will be calling them again when I have anything else.

Everyone at Mr. Handyman was fantastic! I called with a broken back door and they were able to send someone out that afternoon. He fixed it, at a low price, and was so helpful in making sure I was happy with his simple trade-out of the doorknob, instead of buying a new door which is what I initially expected. I will definitely use them for all my handyman needs in the future and happily recommend them to my friends.

Performed an excellent job replacing my very exposed exterior door that had rotted away. He paid attention to the details and left the area clean. Everything went smoothly as advertised, and performed at a fair price! Professional work and solid company!

A technician from Mr. Handyman of South Austin installed a new light pole and fixture in our yard this week. He was prompt and very professional. We will hire them again.
