Q: What kinds of jobs do you do?
A: We do a really wide range of work! Jobs include drywall repair, small painting jobs, carpentry, wood rot repair, railings, stair repair, deck repair, tiling, grouting, caulking, power washing, cabinets, faucets, toilets, TV mounting, smart lock installation, smart thermostat installation, and more. We get very creative requests – if the job is within our technicians’ abilities we will discuss the job. If we feel that we are not the best company for you, we will tell you.
Q: Do you do commercial work?
A: We do! We have done lots of commercial projects throughout Mercer County but especially along the Route 1 corridor in West Windsor and Lawrence. We do a wide range of work including but not limited to mounting TVs, hanging whiteboards or glass whiteboards, painting, drywall, furniture assembly, flooring repair, tile repair, and drop ceiling repair.
Q: I have a small project. Is it too small for you?
A: No. We have a one hour minimum. We can do multiple tasks in that hour. So for example if you need caulking done and that will take 30 minutes we can do other tasks to fill out the hour. A small job is a great way to meet our technician and learn their capabilities. If you are considering doing a bigger project in the future discuss it with him when he is done and he can take some pictures or notes.
Q: Are you locally owned?
A: Yes! The owners live here and love the area.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our office is in Princeton, NJ just off Route 1. It is not a retail store and we often work remotely so if you plan to visit please call before and we’ll try to make sure we have snacks.
Q: Why is your tech carrying an iPad? Will he be checking Twitter when he’s supposed to be working?
A: The iPad is an important tool for us. Our technicians use it to see the details of your job, including pictures, so they can be prepared. They use it to dispatch to your job and map to your house. They take pictures and make notes that the office can see immediately and that are on your account for future visits. They invoice through it. They use it to estimate future work. They check for the availability of materials at the big hardware stores. The iPads are locked down so they can only be used for appropriate work purposes.
Q: Are your technicians full-time employees or do you subcontract work out?
A: Our technicians are full-time employees. They are background checked and drug screened. They have access to medical, dental and vision benefits and life insurance. They get paid holidays and paid sick leave.
