Mr. Handyman has been to my property several times. I obtained free estimates from a handful of different companies for each project before choosing Mr. Handyman, and I chose them because they’re costs are comparable or a better overall value than their competitors, they send you an estimate typed out with all of the details to refer back to which is more professional than other places, and because Mrs. Mitchell has the best communication and has always reached out or responded to my questions in a timely manner. They have great email and text reminders about appointments and when they are on the way. They have been considerate with issues that pop up like unfavorable weather and rescheduled to finish work at a later time when they discovered we had a carpenter ant infestation that needed to be addressed instead of just continuing without letting us know. When we needed our drywall fixed, I thought it was so great of Dylan to not be satisfied with the trim they had on hand and to get a trim that more closely matched what we had, it made the finished job look far better than what it might have been. He even added trim to complete a small area in the pantry that originally had none, that was a job done right. Thanks, Dylan. We also had broken pickets in our fence gate replaced that I wasn’t satisfied with because they left a sharp screw poking through and the gate no longer opened or closed properly, but with a little communication they fixed the issues quickly and now my gate is safe for my kids and opens and closes smoothly, again. Our main project we had with them was to replace all of the dry rotted trim around the house and have the exterior home trim painted. Not all of the rotted trim was replaced, and the painting was incomplete for a while because of miscommunication or misunderstanding with Eric. Biggest thing I learned after that was to be sure whatever we needed done was reflected on that estimate. Overall the techs do well, but have room for growth to perfect their craft. My feedback for them to be outstanding is to take the extra time to carefully and slowly examine around their work as they go and then again when it is completed to make sure nothing is left behind or left sloppy, to especially see if they missed any details or have areas they can clean up or improve on. Recently Eric came and kindly cleaned up an area they missed. It’s up to the client to communicate if they notice or are unsatisfied with something, and so great of Mr. Handyman to come fix it right up. Good rapport has been established and next time we have a project it’s going to be with these guys
