Mr. Handyman: Now hiring and asking for your vote!

More folks are working at home during these difficult times. Some homes may be experiencing more wear and tear with the whole clan present full time. In other cases, homeowners that are spending more time at home may simply want to complete their lingering projects so they can enjoy their time at home more fully. Whatever the situation, demand for Mr. Handyman’s services is way up.

So, we’re hiring. If you, or somebody you know, has strong carpentry and drywall skills, is great with customers, demonstrates quality in all that you do, and if you are seeking a new opportunity – then Mr. Handyman may have the position you are looking for.

This is an employee position. We provide a company vehicle (no out of pocket expenses for transportation), paid holidays and vacations, a 401K, steady work, great customers and a variety of projects. We’re not doing the same thing, day after day, home after home, as is typical with new construction. Each day we meet new customers with new needs around their home or business.

Mr. Handyman is looking for potential hires that take customer service and quality seriously. Consumers are tired of careless work, poor service and unreliable service providers and Mr. Handyman offers the antidote to these issues. As a result we have a wall of awards including three time winner of the Bold City Best Contest, two time winner of the Best of Jax contest, and we’ve been named an Angie’s List Super Service Award winner each of the last 9 years.

Our reputation brings in a steady supply of work, and our staff must be capable of maintaining our reputation. To borrow a recruiting slogan, we’re looking for a few good men or women. If you, a relative, a friend or neighbor, are the candidate we’re looking for, applications are being accepted at https://mr-handyman-of-greater-jacksonville.careerplug.com/jobs/.

Speaking of awards, Mr. Handyman is again competing to win the Bold City Best award. We’ve been nominated in both the Handyman and Home Remodeling categories. I’m reaching out to you, our readers and clients, and asking for your vote once again this year. If you’ve experienced Mr. Handyman in your home or business, recently or in the past, and were pleased with the result, then we’d appreciate your vote.

Voting can be completed at BoldCityBest.com. There are many categories and I ask that you take a moment to consider who else has done a great job this year. There are so many heroes that have emerged during this crisis. Services we may have previously taken for granted. Supermarkets, medical professionals, restaurant staff and others have adapted quickly, stepped up during this crisis, and also deserve your vote. If you don’t see a company or person that you think deserves a vote, you can write them in.

If you need help around your home or business, please contact Mr. Handyman to discuss your specific needs.
