We had an excellent experience with Chad from Mr. Handyman of Burleson. I was skeptical at first because their answering service is not local. But that service routed the call to the local office, a local person did the scheduling, and Chad was fantastic. A former teacher who is a licensed tradesman and very knowledgeable. We told him we preferred a DIY solution but weren’t sure what to do. He let us know our current situation was not up to code (a big surprise, but we confirmed his information later), and he suggested an affordable solution and instructed us in the best way to go about doing it ourselves if we chose that route. We paid $75 plus tax for the service call and also got the quote for using his services to do it versus DIY and it was about $150 cheaper than a quote from another company, including his cost of supplies. Overall we were very impressed. He told us that they require 10 years of experience for all their handymen and put them thru rigorous vetting/testing before approving them to work in the field for their franchise. They have people licensed for a variety of different trades, including plumbing. We will definitely use them again.

Mark was very professional, pleasant to work with and finished our jobs in a timely and well-done fashion. We had our sticking door fixed, some foundation pops repaired as well as a hose holder mounted. This has been our third experience with Mr. Handyman and we still highly recommend! Thank you so much!

Raymundo was great! He showed up on time - well, actually a little early! He installed 2 bathroom fans that we had already bought. One turned out to be an all in one fan, light, and heater - all on one switch. : ( Raymundo was able to reconfigure it so the fan didn't suck the heat out of the bathroom. And he showed me how to disconnect the heater so I can still use the light in the Texas summers! He let me know that there would be a bit of a mess when he cut into the ceiling to install the fan, because our blown insulation would fall from the attic. But he cleaned up everything, so I wouldn't have known any work had gone on if I hadn't seen it. : ) 11 out 10!

Ramon, our technician, repaired a water damaged ceiling in our shower, replaced a damaged piece of drywall in our hall closet, and replaced a water damaged cabinet base under the kitchen sink. Ramon completed those tasks in around three hours and the results were amazing. We will definitely use Handyman again for any future home repairs.
