Tyler has been great to work with. He is always quick to return calls and texts and answers any questions. I swear he never sleeps! From day one, he had people working to restore our house as quickly as possible and he doesn't hesitate to lead by example when things need to get done. Mr. Handyman is one of the most knowledgeable repair companies I know. Anytime my company has concerns or questions they are more than happy to help. The owner of the company has personally, given advice and knowledge on the situation to help us.

Mr. Handyman of Des Moines has come through for us on many occasions. I have had to call on them for small repairs and big repairs, detaching appliances, sinks, removing and replacing cabinets, dry wall, trim, you name it. The owner, Mike Hobbs, is a good guy with a passion for helping people and for what he does.

Mike and Mr. Handyman are the only people I will trust to fix anything. They go above and beyond to make the homeowner feel heard and understood. Mike always puts customers first, and treats them like they are his family! Whenever I need an appliance detached, sink detached, drywall work, flooring laid, kitchen or bathroom remodeling, garage storage and organizing, etc., I call Mr. Handyman. They won't BS you, or make excuses. They will work hard, and will take care of your easiest, and most difficult tasks. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Tyler and Alex did a great job correcting previous mistakes from a tech.

A few weeks ago I called to have a couple leaky sink faucets repaired. Alex arrived on time, completed the work within the agreed-upon price range, and was very professional. The other day one of the replacement parts that was installed failed and the faucet wouldn't turn off. I called back and Alex was able to quickly come back out and replace the failed parts free of charge. That's all okay - sometimes parts fail, and things don't always go perfectly. But they immediately made it right, which is all I can ask for. I have other work I need to get done before too long and I'll be using Mr. Handyman again for that.

We cannot say enough about Tyler - he helped us on so many levels! He assembled a 6-drawer chest beautifully and easily fixed a broken cabinet door. He also advised us on future jobs - re-doing our master bath shower, replacing windows, and more. He’s our go-to guy now for getting our ‘new’ 17-yr-old home in shape!
