Mr. Handyman Included in Garage Rehab's Premiere Makeover
Mr. Handyman of Northeast Tarrant County was included in Richard Rawlings’ newest show Garage Rehab’s premiere on Discovery Channel! Franchisees Mark and Carol Bush opened their business in February 2004 and regularly drove by the Grapevine Automotive garage, which was in dire need of a makeover!
Four Mr. Handyman technicians joined the Garage Rehab team and used their expertise to refurbish two bathrooms by installing new vanities, toilets and lights. For the back office, several tasks were completed included removing old vinyl composition tile (VCT) from the back office floor. They updated the flooring by staining the concrete in the customer waiting area as well as in the back office. In the main garage, the technicians filled an opening in one of the walls, hung a door, and added trim to provide a finished look.
“We definitely helped make a big difference!” said Mark Bush. “It went from being a grubby, rundown shop to looking clean with brand new equipment.”
The production set for reality television can get chaotic with film crews, production team members, service providers and employees. Mark Bush said his team and his fellow Neighborly brand Five Star Painting of Southlake did a great job reacting to on-the-fly changes to complete their respective projects on time.
